Hey y’all! Happy Monday!
I just realized… I don’t know that I’ve ever introduced myself to you guys! And this page has grown to close to 900 followers, so we’re well overdue for it 😊
My name is Kelli! I am 30 years old, a follower of Jesus, a wife, mom, homeschool teacher, tender of chickens and ducks, and the spoiler of my 3 dogs. 🩷
I am married to my best friend, Seth. We’ve been married almost 9 years! He owns a construction business. We have 2 beautiful children, Bristal & BK. Bristal loves playing softball, going to church, and being a social butterfly. BK is an old soul. He loves going to the fire department, working outside, and being my taste tester! 😋
My love for baking started as a young girl watching my sweet nanny, Willie-Ruth Gibson, in the kitchen. She showed her love to people in many ways, but mostly through filling their bellies with delicious dinners and desserts. I loved the time she took, even in her old age, to make sure everyone had their favorite treat anytime they wanted it.
As I grew into an older child and teenager, I loved watching Food Network more than cartoons and experimenting in the kitchen! My love for cooking and baking only grew as I became a woman. I’ve found myself becoming more like my nanny—loving people through filling their bellies! It’s definitely my love language. 🩷
For a few years, I made our kids’ birthday cakes, but I didn’t make the jump to doing it for others until a little over a year ago. In that time, I’ve made dozens of cakes and treats for so many of you!
I’m so, so thankful for all of you—for every order, every share, every kind word, and for helping me turn this little dream and hobby into something that helps provide for my family. I hope I get to keep doing this until I’m old and gray! I truly love and appreciate each of you. Thank you so much for everything. 🩷
