Hey Cupcake! Wildflour has been a part of my life for the past decade, and four years ago, I took my scrappy little wedding cake business from rented kitchens and bridal shows to the retail cupcake shop I'd always dreamed of. I picked out paint colors and poured over wallpaper swatches for a year, and when it was finally ready, I opened to a welcoming community who fell instantly in love with Oreo Truffle, Fleur De Sel and Prince Charming. Over the years, Wildflour Cupcakes picked up regular customers who had to have their daily fix, as well as thousands of happy brides, birthday girls and boys, graduates, and friends who just wanted cake. We were featured on Cupcake Wars and got to participate in celebrity gift suites. We shipped cupcakes across the country and set up wedding cakes in Canada. Along the way, I met so many wonderful people and learned so much about myself and about what's truly important in life. I am proud of what I built and thankful for all the support I received. On Saturday, I will lock up one last time, and while the decision to sell was thought out, letting go of something I love is no cakewalk. This is a journey I'll never forget, and I thank you all for coming along for the ride!
