Hey everyone who is waiting on the cookie dough... I apologize for not getting back to you today. Everything is in different size containers and I haven't had a chance to weigh it all. But everything will basically be 50% of what we normally sell our cookies for. Here are some pictures of what I've got, The people who already stopped in and asked on Saturday have priority and then the rest is up for grabs 😁. Pick up will be available Monday 4:00 to 6:00, Tuesday or Wednesday 11:00 to 5:00.

Hey everyone, I need your help.... Does anyone know Lloyd Wilcox? He left his debit card here on the 12th and it was so chaotic with my dad's passing and Valentine's that we put it in the drawer for safekeeping and I completely forgot we had it

Happy Valentine's Day! We've done our best to fill the cases back up! We have a few more things that will be going out shortly... Two strawberry heart shape cakes and tins one Black Magic heart cake in a tin, and about a dozen more of the brownies in the loaf pans and the heart pans💕. The doors will be open until 3:00 unless we sell out sooner.
**And I apologize for this announcement being so last minute but we have sold the building and TODAY will be our last official day open. PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW to help get the word out.
Everything happened so fast my head is spinning. We were supposed to close on the building on the 8th of March and I just didn't want to say anything until we knew it was actually going to happen. Last year when we announced we were trying to sell and that I was going to be moving We lost so many customers and it really hurt my business and so I couldn't afford to say anything sooner.
They told us last Monday that they thought we'd be able to close as early as the 16th but we did sign the papers yesterday. We had hoped to have a big party and a last blowout, but my dad passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning So I am scrambling to get all the equipment sold and be out of the building no later than the 23rd of this month. I am hoping for sooner so I can get to Wisconsin and take care of my father's affairs. Many of you know my mother passed away less than a year ago and I am an only child so I'm it. So so many decisions have to be made on my own.
Anyway, whoever gets this and time to stop in and say hello and goodbye we would love to see you.
We are going to most likely have the doors open on Tuesday and Wednesday for sure for people to come in and look at equipment etc so if you know anyone interested please send them our way. I will send out a separate post with that information and I also have hard copies of the big pieces with prices.
We do have quite a few supplies on hand still to include a lot of cookie dough so if there's time, we will probably try to bake a bunch of that and have it out at no charge for anyone coming to visit Tuesday or Wednesday. or if anyone's interested in purchasing the dough will give you a good deal lol!
I know so many of you will be disappointed that Dessert By Design is most likely going away forever, And as I mentioned earlier in the post the business definitely took a hit in 2025 with all of the rumors that we were closing etc. So it certainly is not as valuable as it was a year ago but if anyone is interested in possibly rebooting the business in another location I would be willing to have a conversation. We have built the brand and a very good reputation over the past 4 years and that has value😊 And of course we have all of the recipes and if someone was interested they could purchase some of the equipment or supplies etc.
Would love to see all of our hard work carry on so I'm definitely open to any reasonable offers on the actual business, recipes, etc.
I will also help during a transition period to get the word out and to help anyone who's trying to start a new business.
We are so so so so so thankful for everyone who has supported us over the years and we're going to go ahead and keep posting probably the next few days as things gets sold and the inside starts to look a little different. Most people won't be interested but those of you who have been on the journey from the beginning I figure it might be kind of fun to see it through to the end.

Hey all!!! Check out these adorable heart shaped Red Velvet mini cakes🤤😋. We have limited quantities and once they're gone they're gone, also here's some more pictures of some of the other treats to include pink vanilla fudge dye free, a gluten-free heart-shaped lemon cake and a handful of gluten-free brownies. We are doing our very best to keep the cases full all day today. Reminder that we have reduced hours today so we are open from 12:00 to 5:00.
A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks that we will be sharing with you very soon so stay tuned.... As always please share share share.

Hey everyone! I have a family emergency so we will be closing the shop at 5:00 tonight and also we will have shortened hours tomorrow from noon to 5:00. Please be patient with my employee when you come in today as she is by herself right now. And we will fill everybody's pre-orders but will only be finishing up the stuff we already have baked and prepped for the cases today and tomorrow. The cases are currently full I didn't have time to take pictures before I left.

Hey All! Here's a few pics of what's currently in the cases, We've got a bunch more that we will be adding as fast as we can.....More fudge, to include Dye Free Pink fudge, walnut fudge, Oreo Bon Bons and Peanut Butter Bon Bons. We will also have a few gluten-free options later in the week.
Also, just a reminder that pre-orders are now closed. We are completely booked and then some 😜 thanks to everyone who did pre-order!
We are open regular hours today and tomorrow and will have extended hours till 7:00 p.m. on Friday the 13th
We WILL be open to the public Saturday the 13th from 10:00 to 3:00.

Hey all! My apologies for not posting all week. Can't really give details right now but it has been a bit chaotic and a lot stressful 🤪. And of course a holiday must be near because one of our refrigerated cases is acting up 🙄.
Anyway, here's what's currently in the cases, we are working diligently to continue to fill them up.
Reminder that tomorrow, Feb 6th, at midnight is the deadline for pre-orders for next week. We still have quite a bit of availability for Saturday the 14th but we're almost completely booked for the 13th already 💕.
We are located at 220 South Iowa Avenue just behind Big Sky Sports in Fruitland, around the corner from FMTC.
Our hours are Tuesday through Friday 11:00 to 6:00 Saturday pre-order pickups only from 10:00 to 12:00.
With the exception of Saturday February 14th we will be open from 10:00 to 3:00
And we will be open till 7:00 p.m. on Friday 13th.

Happy Friday! Wow we have had a crazy busy week thanks to everybody who came in to support this little local business. Every time we put something new in the case it sold and then we baked more and then it sold and so here's what's left....
25% off of everything starts at 4:00 p.m. and 50% off of everything that's left starting at 5:00 p.m. except the cheesecake.
