Last week, the team at Frisco Moms Care celebrated Valentine's Day with our very special Sweetheart Project. We were very honored to work with our wonderful supporters and local business community to bring this project together. With the generous donations from local businesses and individuals, we were able to make 15 women who have recently lost a spouse or child our Valentines and hand-deliver gifts to them. Getting to meet our recipients at their doorstep, and receiving emails of appreciation from them, lets us know that these gifts of love brightened their day. It is projects like this that remind us of the importance of goodwill and sisterhood - both part of our organization's mission. I just cannot thank this sweet woman enough. I called last minute by googling emergency last minute cakes in my area after a last minute cake emergency and found Nue's Cakes n More. I told her what I needed and never thinking it could happen she said "absolutely, when do you need it," I needed it the very next early evening and had no expectations for aesthetic but was appreciative for anything she could do. Not only did she come through, but she came through with the most amazing, delicious, most beautifully perfect cake I could've dreamt up. Ive used a bakery thats been featured on television for years and she was not just close but hers was head to head with what she gave us. I truly didnt expect the amazing quality we got from someone I found by a wish and random google search, but Ill be forever grateful!!! I rented a suite and Dodge limo for my sons 14th birthday so I wanted a cake on theme. I asked for a tire idea and Id figure out cars, we created something that hit it out of the park! Thank you so much!!!
