I was very fortunate to have a grandmother that also loved to bake and made many wedding cakes in her home town. I held on to that dream for a long time until I had children of my own. Once I became a stay-at-home mom, I wanted to learn how to make specialty cakes for my children’s birthdays. A friend of mine who had taken some classes showed me the basics, and the rest was learning by doing. I co
