Almost a year has passed by! Hello! My name is Marycarmen Askari and I am the self-taught baker behind this name brand!

I am a Professional Art Director, Certified Yoga Instructor, seasoned mother of 4 boys, one under the spectrum and NOW I am a VERY PROUD Plexus Ambassador ❤️ helping other momas and bakers like me, to feel better from their gut outwards!

But please, don't be afraid of liking my posts from now onwards on this platform, I won't be persuading you into "selling" you supplements while showing you my latest baked good 😊 NOP, that's not what a good baker would do or what a great network marketing would do. If you know me, you should know that whatever I do, I do it seriously 🫶 and because I care for others, I share with a passion.

So stay tuned, because my son with Autism is getting ready to fund his 5th grade camping trip for the next two months! And these are the cakes he will be baking to do so. So, stay tuned and wishing you an EXCELLENT 2024!

I'm soooooo sorry I haven't been active over here in a while. But the truth is that it is very difficult for me to share a decision I've made right after the beginning of the year: and that is I am going to step away from BAKING again 😔.

As much as baking IS an amazing passion of mine and I LOVE LOVE LOVE serving many of you with my cakes, cookies and always thriving to provide excellent customer service, I have also noticed my mental state had been compromised tremendously. It is just not the right season for me. Having a one-year-old at home while the brothers go to school, seemed to be a wonderful opportunity even with a baby sitter on board, to focus on baking. However, I have been reminded that this season is very short and unique, and my baby just needs me with him. Perhaps I'm the one who needs him with me ❤️

Until I'm in a better space to continue to grow in this arena, I will be baking for my family rather than baking for this wonderful business in the next following months 🙏 thank you ALL for your support, this isn't a good bye, just an "until later" 😘

50 is half a CENTURY and what a beautiful blessing ❤️♥️❤️ I truly adore the idea of aging, I feel that those who have the blessing to arrive to higher numbers of years in life have the blessing of opening doors of WISDOM 🙏 and that's a gift in itself ❤️

It is true that 50 or 40 or 30 is just a number, what truly matters is how you feel inside. I am honored to have made this cake for a beautiful soul ♥️ She deserves so much love because that's what she offers everywhere she goes ♥️🙏 Happy Birthday dear cousin 🙏 May the next 50 years bring you health, peace and happiness in the deep levels of the spirit!!!

Our first cake of this year 2023 is a collaboration with: My son ❤️🥰

He wanted to bake a Nutcracker theme cake for his uncle, and we decided a carrot cake was appropriate. What a beautiful experience.... Tough at times 😐 because he wants to lead and is eager to learn so fast!!! But the results, even with the tiny cracks on some areas and the falling eye 👁️‍🗨️🤣🤣🤣 ( I noticed it after the picture was taken) were simply: PERFECT!

Happy Belated Birthday uncle! (His bday was back in December, we saw the Nutcracker show for the first time then, therefore the theme)

Purefoy Elementary PTA Thank You cookies ❤️ it was a JOY making these, because our hearts in this house have a very special place for this School!

Yes, it's the school where my kids attend 😍🥰 and the love is truly felt all the way around! Having a child in special need has allowed us to experience the quality of their people, and that very first year I have to say, it felt too good to be true. Took me a while to realize that we are very lucky to be there! Purefoy staff is truly that lovely and caring for our kiddos 🙏 and for that I am BEYOND THANKFUL.

Another boy birthday celebration for this week 🎉🥳 this cake was a fun one to do, and a reminder on how fast time is going.

Right after I gave birth to my third child, my second child turned 2 years old, and of course, I made him a cake and the theme was Blaze the Machinery... Only I wasn't aware that it was a kids show ... I just used his monster truck toys on the cake 😜 ... Another mom informed me then 😂🤣😂🤣😂

This cake is all American Buttercream, stuff enough to keep it sealed and protected from the elements (no fondant).

I told you he is obsessed with tornadoes 😂😂😂 he wanted this cake. It's a Tornado cake. But inside was so delicious and the right amount of vanilla flavor with strawberry frosting! 😋😋😋

I still don't understand his obsession but I guess there are things in life we just WON'T necessarily understand 😂!

There. At 7 years of age he wishes to see a tornado in real life 😜... Oh Lord!

His wish: that we all are happy tornadoes 😂 I don't even know what that means but I guess he truly believes in tornadoes ❤️ kids say the most random things!

Anyhow, his tornado cookies turned out cute and the cake picture will come later on another post.

Chick-fil-A theme decorated cookies for baby shower 🍪👶🍼 what a fun theme to work on! The challenge was the design part: how to come up with images that somehow say "Chick-fil-A" without saying it and tie it with the baby? You may imagine what the main finger food may have been at this event ☺️
