Hi Sweet Friends,

If you’ve ever ordered a king cake from me, you know it’s never just about dessert. It’s about gathering, celebrating, and holding tight to the people we love.

What many of you may not know is why I do what I do. After my husband’s three-year battle with cancer, and losing him on Christmas Eve 2012, I saw firsthand what that journey does to a family—especially to children. That experience led me to found Little Hearts of Hope, serving children ages 4–14 who have a parent or sibling fighting cancer.

Today, we ship monthly Hope Packages nationwide—creative, hands-on activities that help children process fear, grief, embarrassment, and uncertainty in healthy ways. Each child we serve costs about $455 for the full 13-month program. Fundraisers like this help us say “yes” to more families.

And that’s where you come in.

Our Crawfish Boil Fundraiser is coming up!

I am officially booked for the entire season. There is still a chance for you to get a king cake though! My full time job is with LHOH - Little Hearts of Hope and we are having a crawfish boil for our fundraiser this year. We will be auctioning off a few king cakes at this event. I would love to invite you to come support this cause that means so much to me and enjoy some crawfish while helping hurting kids!

Heads or Tails Crawfish is bringing Louisiana flavor to Texas on March 8, 2026.

I am so excited to spend another Mardi Gras season with you all here in North Texas. I could not have imagined that my little idea to share king cakes with friends and family has evolved into hundreds of people who want to order king cakes every season!

Here are a few facts for those who haven't ordered before. King cakes feed about 16 -18 and only come in one size. Traditional is filled with cinnamon and sugar. Cream cheese filled has the traditional cinnamon and sugar as well as a layer of cream cheese filling. Each king cake comes with a baby inside and traditional yellow, green, and gold colored sanding sugar.

Please read before placing your order: Once you find the date that you would like to reserve, please note in the comments whether you prefer traditional or cream-cheese filled. I will email you within 24 hours to arrange payment and confirm your date and order. Spots are held only after payment is received. Pricing is $48 for traditional and $53 for cream-cheese filled. Payment is due 10 days before your requested date, no exceptions.

If you’d like to join the waitlist for a fully booked date, please email your name, phone number, and the date you’d like. Waitlist openings only occur if someone doesn’t complete payment, which happened just once last year, so if you want to guarantee a king cake, please select an alternate date.

Hi friends, just a reminder about king cake orders for this year!

The VIP pre-order form went out on Dec. 1 around 5:30am. If you haven't seen it, please go to your spam folder and search for it. You have 1 more week to get your order in before I open the form to new customers on Dec. 15th.

For new customers, you will see the form pinned at the top of this page for the rest of the season starting Dec. 15th. Check back soon for that!
