I needed a minute before I wrote this, so here goes…

Marc,

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary. We would have been married for 13 years. This was the second wedding anniversary I had to spend without you. I spent time with family, took a break from work today (kind of) and tried to enjoy the day as best I could. It was a perfect autumn day. I wish you were here to see it. If you were here, we would have gone out and had some good food. Probably go to the movies, or went away for the weekend. I imagine it would have been a memorable fun filled day. I miss you so much. Everyday. I’m still not use to doing this life without you, but I’m doing my best. My life is nothing what I imagined it to be since you’ve been gone. I’m grateful for all the love and support I have from friends, family and the community, but the weight of you not being here hits me out of the blue some days. It still feels surreal. I wish we had more time together. I wish we could have grown old together. I wish you were here. I don’t just miss my husband, I miss my best friend. I miss our long conversations or how you would always make me laugh. It’s been a year and a half without you and I still talk about you every chance I get. I always will. I wish all the new people I’ve met had a chance to meet you. They would have loved you. We use to count the years we were married finished with “forever to go”, but now I count the years without you and still finish it with “forever to go”. So 1.5 years without you and forever to go. I love you so much. Happy anniversary.

We can’t get over how morbidly cute this week’s cookie designs turned out 😭🔪

There’s just something about turning some of our favorite horror icons into little cookies that spark a seasonally horrific type of joy. We paired up a few of our favorite slashers and somehow made them look adorable. :)

🔪 Strong Silent Type — Jason and Michael. Both big guys. Neither has much to say. If you’ve seen their work, you know they let their actions do the talking.

☎️ Kiss Me Thru the Phone — Ghostface and Freddy. We can think of at least two slashers who love a little phone play. 🤭
