Cooler weather + a rainy day = soup and sandwich weather! While we don’t have the soup…(yet)… we do have a plethora of breads to choose from! Fresh this morning: Bakers Oats, White & Whole Wheat Sourdough Sandwich Loaves, and Pain d’Oiseau (our seeded boule with: caraway, dill, sesame, poppy, flax, h**p, chia, and mustard seeds). We also have Russian Black Rye, Ciabatta Stirato, and Whole Wheat Country Boules. Feeling like a sweet treat? Grab one of our two muffins today: Maine Blueberry or Pumpkin Gingerbread Chocolate Chip. Treat yourself Tuesday is back! Start your morning off with a Belgian favourite, our Cramique aux Raisins! A rich buttery brioche studded with sweet raisins and topped with pearl sugar these will be sure to satisfy! Maybe you’re looking for an early fall treat we have our Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cupcakes with spiced cream cheese frosting, and our Pumpkin Gingerbread Chocolate Chip Muffins! And for our gluten-free vegan friends we have a Coconut Brown Sugar Meringue Drop Cookie, a vegan meringue flavoured with brown sugar and topped with shredded toasted coconut! Give one of our scones a go, today we have a Cherry Garcia Scone, a vanilla dough studded with dried sweet cherries and semisweet chocolate chunks; and a Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Scone, a chocolate dough studded with mini chocolate morsels, chopped peanuts, and peanut butter chips! Looking for a sweet treat? Take this beautiful Chocolate Hazelnut Gateau home! It’s kinda sticky out and there’s still hope that the rain will come, even if the storm passes, we’re baking up a storm in the bakery today! For our rye lovers we have three types of rye today! A German style Sourdough Volkorn Rye, made with 100% organic rye flour and organic chopped rye berries this loaf is properly dense in the best way possible. Up next is our Russian Black Bread with its distinct flavours coming from coffee, onions, molasses, and caraway. Last up is our classic Sourdough Deli Rye, flavoured with dill, mustard, and caraway seeds, and a hint of potato flour for that beautifully soft crumb! Not a fan of rye? We’ve got Stirato and Ciabatta, Olive Fougasse, Challah, and more! Be sure to come grab a piece of Trevor’s New England Coffee Cake or one of Ma’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcakes before they’re gone! We’re here until 5, see you soon!!

Some times a little sample changes your whole day! Come by and try our Pain de Campagne and our Rye Black Bread with some amazing Spring Day Blue Cheese! We also have Carrot Cake Cupcakes back in stock, studded with raisins and pecans and topped with a luscious cream cheese frosting. Looking for just a small treat? Grab some of our Hazelnut Black-eyed Susan Butter Cookies, a buttery shortbread filled with hazelnuts and topped with a dark chocolate chip these go so well with a cup of tea or a cup of nice dark french roast coffee!
