Sweet Alchemy Bake Shop, LLC Sweet Alchemy Bake Shop is a gourmet bakery located in New Kensington. The menu and flavors change and often use seasonal flavors and ingredients.

Sweet Alchemy Bake Shop, founded in 2016, is a woman owned, all vegan bakery specializing in deliciously sweet treats and savory delights. Initially operating as a home based business, through 2020, they opened a brick and mortar, at 932 Fifth Avenue, Suite D, New Kensington, PA 15068, in April of 2021. Sweet Alchemy bakes from scratch, creating new recipes, as well as incorporating family recipes

into her menu. In addition to being all vegan, another principle of Sweet Alchemy includes being a minimal waste producer which is accomplished by reusing, recycling, and reducing. New menu items are often created by using typically discarded items. An example of this is creating our Tiny Tarts out of discarded pie dough.

Parker is healing well after his neuter/vaccine appointment!! He continues to be an absolute love bug. He purrs so loud, the room vibrates.

I'm known in my neighborhood as The Cat Lady. Seriously, that's how a few of my neighbors have me listed in their contacts.

In December of 2023, I started rescuing cats, believe it or not, at the bakery, and then not even a month later, in my own neighborhood.

For the past year and a half, my neighbor, a fellow food vendor, has been taking care of one of the remaining cats. Over the past year, I would check in with him and kept the communication open.

But remember change and rescue is sometimes slow.

Last week, my neighbor stopped in and asked if I could help him rescue the cat and get it a home. He said it's time. My neighbor absolutely adores this cat and has done a great job of providing the cat with shelter, food/water, attention, and socialization.

I immediately said yes! The next day I dropped off some supplies, and a day later, the cat happily went into a carrier, chasing some yummy wet food.

So friends meet, Parker, an adorable long haired tuxedo cat who Conquer the Colony will soon have in their care.

Parker is chilling with us for two weeks and then he'll head to them. So for the next two weeks, get ready to see some Parker posts and videos because he is adorable!

Let's talk about these Midnight Snickerdoodles. I'm pretty sure they're my new favorite cookie.

They're chewy. They're soft. The chocolate with a touch of cinnamon and ginger is perfection.

Alright folks, couple reminders.

☆ We are open this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 10a to 1p, with our Taylor Swift Inspired menu which includes sweet and savory delights.☆

☆ We won't be open next weekend, so come in and stock up. ☆

☆ Menu will be posted on Thursday. ☆

☆ A lot of folks have in fact been coming in to stock up. I get it! Some of you drive an hour or more. Please don't apologize for buying things. You want to buy the whole case? Do it. I don't limit sweets per person. Buy the tarts, buy the cookies, buy it all. ☆

☆ Yes, I'm making a bunch of things this weekend. Like lots. So much in fact I've overwhelmed myself. ☆

☆ Speaking of stocking up, yes we ship. All of our items, minus donuts, ship and freeze well. If you want us to ship something, just send me a message and I'll happily get you a price including shipping. I only ship Priority Mail via USPS. And trust, your items will be packed perfectly in boxes with ample packaging. Also, I only ship Monday through Wednesdays, Thursday if not too far, so items arrive as fresh as possible. ☆
