It's Teacher Appreciation Week and I received a special order from Auburn Elementary School to surprise their teachers with! This is the school I have been in my whole life and I can tell you that we have the best teachers from firsthand experience!

I made this order that will be given out to students during a Junior Achievement class tomorrow! Junior Achievement is a wonderful class that teaches elementary kids the basics of economics.I was able to participate in my 4th grade class last year. It was a lot of fun!

My Higgy Bears and scoliosis braces made it safely and in time for the Higgy Friends party!

I met these friends when attending Higgy Con the last couple years. This is a support group and convention for kids like me who have scoliosis!

I wear my brace between 16-22 hours per day. I will continue to wear my brace until I'm about 16 years old. It's definitely a struggle some days, but I've met some great people on my journey.

Sometimes I don't understand why I have to carry this burden, but other days I'm okay with it. I told my mom recently, "I know why God chose me to have scoliosis and maybe not another kid. I'm strong enough to handle it, and another kid might not be." ❤️
