🐸💚 A Few Starters Still Hoppin’ Around! 💚🐸

If you missed grabbing a sourdough starter cup this weekend I still have a few tucked away in the porch fridge, and they’ll be out all day today and tomorrow. 🥖✨ Come by anytime during daylight hours to grab one!

Fun fact: Our starter’s name is Jean-Bob — lovingly named by my two oldest daughters after the sassy frog from The Swan Princess! 🐸💫
Because, really… what better name for a lively little starter always full of character?

✨ Sourdough Starter is back this weekend! ✨

If you missed out last weekend, don’t worry I’ll have more sourdough starter cups available in the porch fridge again this Saturday and Sunday! 👏🏼 🍞

And this Saturday, I’ll also be sharing my sourdough bread recipe so you can start baking your own loaf from home. I’m even working on putting together a step-by-step video of me making my sourdough, too! 🎥

Don’t be intimidated — I promise it’s not as hard as it looks! Once you get the hang of it, you’ll fall in love with the process (and the smell of fresh bread filling your kitchen). 💛

✨ Fresh sourdough starter available this weekend! ✨

I’ll have cups of my bubbly, active sourdough starter ready for you in the porch fridge starting Saturday at 6 AM through Sunday at sunset. Each cup is $5, and it’s the same starter I use for all of my breads at The Vine & Branch Bakery. 🌿🍞

Whether you’re brand new to sourdough or just need a fresh boost, this little cup is all you need to start baking your own loaves at home.

📹 I’ll be sharing a quick time-lapse video tonight of my starter in action so you can see the life inside these cups! This weekend I will be sharing a video of how to feed and care for your starter!

Big Bakery Update 🍞✨

Hi friends! I wanted to give you all an update since it’s been a while. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I won’t be able to keep the bakery open every single weekend like before. Instead, I’ll be shifting things a bit!

🌿 I’ll still do pop-up porch stands here and there (especially around the holidays), so keep an eye out for those announcements.

🌿 I’ll also be turning this page into a space where I share recipes, baking tips, and videos—because my original mission has always been to make wholesome, from-scratch baking more accessible for everyone.

🌿 And exciting news—I’ll be offering sourdough starter for sale! I’ll have care sheets ready, plus I’ll share a video on how to bake a simple sourdough loaf so you can enjoy fresh bread right at home. (Beginning October 4th)

🌿 I’m also starting a TikTok page soon, where I’ll post recipe videos, baking edits, and links to the products I use, for anyone who wants to follow along there too. (My oldest is very excited to be manage my TikTok 😅)

This bakery has always been more about community and connection than anything else, and I’m excited to see how it grows in this new season. Thank you so much for supporting me—it truly means the world. 💛
