It’s a…my very first gender reveal cake order! 💙 Been taking some time off from accepting orders, but I couldn’t say no when my dear friend contacted me to commission this sweet little number for some friends a few weeks ago. Meet Francisco! I kind of love him! He came to PARTAY because it’s MY BIRTHDAY TODAY 🥳 I’ve been wanting to do a cactus cake forever, and since it’s my birthday I do what I want! The sprinkle pricklies on the cactus just tickle me because they also look like Christmas lights. Pretty sure this is officially my favorite cake I’ve ever decorated so yay!

I don’t always do decorated sugar cookies, but when I do you can bet tacky sweaters are involved! This past weekend we revived our Christmas Spec-TACKular Sweater Party! Thanks to babies and COVID we sadly took a break from this annual tradition for a few years. We were beyond thrilled to host this event again and gather with friends both old and new for an evening of merriment and Christmas spirit(s) 😜

Sharing this today in honor of my sweet friend Angela whose birthday is today! Angela and I met several years ago thanks to our husbands and bonded quickly over a mutual love of baking, now our boys are besties and I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby girl in a few more weeks!
