Hello friends of the internets.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances we will be not having our Tuesday front porch pop ups on a regular occurrence.

Please send requests to me directly for any sourdough goods allowing at least 3 days notice (did you know it takes 3 days to make a loaf of sourdough bread?! 😱) 😜

I hope to open back up on a regular basis soon, but in the meantime follow me here for random pop ups and updates.

Also visit my friend for your sourdough goods in the meantime 🤍

One year ago today, Erin and I took a sourdough class with Fischer and Weiser. I was too intimidated to ever rehydrate the starter we received from this class, but Maghan brought me some a few months later on Mother’s Day, and forced my hand 🤪
I tried for a few months, unsuccessfully and decided to put a pause and stuck “Jessica” (you are supposed to name your starter) in the fridge. In July, I pulled her out to try again but she was not waking up. Luckily, Kersey had saved some of Jessica’s offspring and I was able to finally figure it out.
Crazy where it’s brought me today with my little front porch micro bakery.

Bakes every Tuesday morning and occasional special orders with Plain Jane Sourdough!

Because our house faces west I pulled the goodies left inside because they were starting to sweat in the Texas sun.
