We had a great time helping a young couple celebrate their wedding this weekend. The bride's cake is decorated with vanilla buttercream, and the gold band matches the belt on the bride's dress. The groom's cake is German chocolate and decorated with chocolate ci******es, a tempered white chocolate disc, and a sugar paste violin.

This year's OSSAS cake entry. This is the second time I have competed in a cake competition, and I feel honored to have earned second place in the wedding cake adult advanced division. For those who love cake decorating, the show is a great opportunity to see the artistry and creativity of sugar artists from all over the US all in one venue.
