Hi friends! 🍞🥖
I realized I’ve been absent without ever explaining why, and I wanted to pop back in and say thank you.
The last few months have brought a lot of exciting changes for our family. We're expecting our second baby in July, and between pregnancy and preparing for a big move, I decided to step away from baking for a while. We also made the decision to move out of Frederick to be closer to family.
Thank you so much to all our customers and fans. Happy Rae's Sourdough started as a fun way for me to share my love of baking and sourdough with the community. It quickly turned into something truly special because of all of you. Every loaf purchased, kind message shared, recommendation given, and familiar face that stopped by the bread stand helped make this little dream of mine more meaningful than I ever imagined. Your support, encouragement, and enthusiasm meant the world to me, and I'll always be grateful for the role you played in this journey! I’ll never forget when several customers compared getting an order in with us to scoring Taylor Swift tickets.. What an honor.
Thank you for supporting my little sourdough dream.
As for what's next—I'm hopeful that Happy Rae's Sourdough may find a new home here in Connecticut someday! I'll continue sharing sourdough photos, baking updates, and maybe a few behind-the-scenes glimpses of life with a growing family.
Thank you again for everything.
❤️ Mae
