For today’s Wedding Cake Wednesday we’re featuring this gorgeous three tiered cake inspired by our client’s love for Harry Potter! Designed and magically brought to life by Renee, this cake features three tiers of our deliciously moist red velvet cake, layered with buttery smooth cream cheese frosting and adorned with fondant on the outside to capture its intricate 3D elements.
The topper was handmade by Casey Poole at Ridgewood Designs.

We absolutely loved making Alex and Hanah’s wedding cake dreams come true. A cake like this truly shined at their beautiful castle venue!

The authors of a new entertaining and educational children’s travel book, set in Western North Carolina, are coming to Renee’s Cake Shoppe on June 6, along with the book’s “narrator” – a lovable and adventurous Great Pyrenees-mix!
Bookmarks and stickers will be available.

We are so excited for today's Wedding Cake Wednesday featuring the #1 wedding cake trend for 2026 and beyond! The flat lay cake or tablescape cake is the ultimate modern take on wedding cakes. Redefining what tradition is by totally changing the traditional look of cake, giving the wedding a modern, fashion-forward vibe!

This cake was at the amazing venue and featured in their spiral staircase! The inside was lemon cake with our delicious lemon curd and raspberry filling. The outside was iced in cream cheese icing with simple lines and the perfect trim for the sleek modern look of the cake. What a fun and romantic moment for the couple!! Congratulations!
