A Sweet Motherโs Day Gift ๐ฆ๐ธ
For Motherโs Day this year, my daughter gave me something truly specialโa cookie decorating class! ๐
Today I had the opportunity to learn from some incredibly talented cookie artists, step outside my comfort zone, and try a few new techniques. From simple cookie shapes to these bright and cheerful butterflies, flowers, caterpillars, and rainbows, every cookie was a chance to learn something new.
As a cookie decorator, itโs easy to get caught up in orders and deadlines, but taking time to be a student again reminded me why I fell in love with cookie decorating in the first place. There is always something new to learn and room to grow.
A huge thank you to my daughter(Emily)for such a thoughtful gift and to the wonderful instructors (Rachel baker paradise) who shared their knowledge with us today. My heart is full, my notebook is full, and my head is spinning with new ideas!
Now itโs time to head back to my cookie room and put some of these new techniques into practice. ๐
