Sugaring season 2026 officially came to an end last evening, and what a year it has been! We’re closing it out feeling incredibly grateful—not only for a great crop, but for the amazing friends and family who show up, lend a hand, and make this season so special.
We didn’t capture every moment, but we did catch some of the most meaningful ones 🧡
A few highlights:
• Bradley Rainville spent the entire season in the woods keeping everything running tight—an incredible job. As Justin says “the money is made in the woods” and he did just that.
• Clarence was always here to help wherever needed—restocking the wood pile, keeping Justin company, and even cooking up lunch!
• The Gervais Family, our “regulars, showed up time and time again to keep us company, brought dinner, sweet sap from their buckets this year, helped feed the fire, and even got to experience the least favorite part—cleaning the rig!
• A truly special moment was having my dad visit the sugarhouse for the first time since his seizures last season—thanks to my sister for making that happen.
• Chef Mark Racine brought his cooking talents (and fire-stoking skills!) to the sugarhouse multiple times—such a blessing to have him with us.
• The Bouchard Kids delivering sap, and helping us with whatever it was that we needed on any given day.
• Ben was a new regular visitor and he jumped right in to help where needed!
• Dave Wilcox, our friend and welder, who shows up to our rescue whenever needed!
•Chris Salter for showing up regularly to give Justin a hand wherever needed and boil while he picked sap!
This only names a few of the many who make sugaring season what it is. We are beyond thankful for each and every one of you! It takes a village and we sure do love ours!
Thank you, we appreciate you all! 🍁 🧡🫶🏻
