No one has officially been credited with inventing the breakfast sandwich. However, our cameraman claims it was invented by his neighbor Skip, and to this day he stands by that story. So growing up, a breakfast sandwich was called a “Skip sandwich” in my house.

As much as I’d like to believe it—because by all accounts, Skip was a nice and innovative man—we just don’t have the evidence to back it up.

But I think we can all agree: the breakfast sandwich is one of mankind’s greatest achievements.
