To our sweet friends and family,
Thank you for these past 7 years of letting us be part of your lives. When we purchased this fifty-year-old business, we had no idea how many chapters would unfold within the walls of our original location and our current home. My goal has always been to create a space filled with child-like wonder and inspiration, from the sights and sounds to smells and experiences. The sounds of squeals and giggles hundreds of you made when entering my doors provided reassurance that we all need to feel like kids in a candy store. You have shared your families with me, your tables with me, your celebrations and heartaches. You’ve walked with my family as my boys have become men and graduated from front to back of counter employees. You’ve laughed with us, cried with us, prayed with us, and supported us through so many seasons and my heart is forever full.
Saturday, July 20th will be our last day of business. Thank you for allowing me to dream and provide a special space in our community. I hope we have been a tiny blessing to you in the same way you have forever blessed our family. We have packed our calendar full of events and will have beautiful merchandise and displays available to purchase in-store. Please come help us close our case for the last time.
To the thousands of students I have taught, remember that we all start somewhere. Keep getting your hands dirty and remember you are never too old to play with your food.
To my fellow small business owner friends, I see you. I am your biggest fan. I am here to be a cheerleader for you.
To my customers across the globe, thank you. You mean the world to us.
To my staff, thank you for showing up and loving our community with us. Our family is forever grateful.
To the dreamers, keep finding a way to make your own beautiful space in this world.
Peace, love, and blessings to you,
Mrs. Sugar Drop and family
