Calling all Parents, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles! Would you like to make lasting memories for the little people in your life? What better way than to PICK your own blueberries and then make blueberry pancakes!!! It's something children will never forget and here is a FANTASTIC recipe to get you started:

BLUEBERRY PANCAKES
1 1/2 All Purpose Flour
1 heaping Tablespoon Baking Powder
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/4 cups milk
3 Tablespoons Butter, melted
1 Farm-fresh Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Sift together: Flour, Baking Powder, Sugar, and Salt in a large bowl. Beat together Milk, Butter, Egg, and Vanilla and mix into dry ingredients until combined. Heat a griddle or pan over medium heat, ladle approximately 1/4 cup batter onto pan and cook until bubbles form around the edges (@2-3 minutes) Flip pancake and cook until done. Serve with Hot syrup or BLUEBERRY compote and softened butter.



The Old Silo Farm has fresh blueberries ready for picking and they're chemical-free and fertilizer-free. Pre-picked quarts are $10, gallons are $35, and U-pick quarts are $8, gallons are $30. You can keep your kids entertained and feed them a healthy snack at the same time!
