I've started and stopped this post about a million times. While I like to think there is an easy way to say this, there's really not.
After a lot of thinking and soul searching we have decided to close the bakery. March 26th, 2022 will be our last day open.
Once again, we are wanting to be transparent with you about why we've made this choice. As I've said before, if you don't tell your story someone else will. There's no dramatic end here. The truth of it is, it's just time. You may or may not know, but our family has grown rapidly over the last couple of months. Keeping up with six kiddos is challenging. While I love having the shop it is time consuming and I'm finding myself spread pretty thin. I love owning a small business, but I love being a momma more. It's time to take some time away from small business ownership and reinvest that time in my family.
We can't tell you how much we love and appreciate everyone's support over the last four years. We came in as outsiders and have felt overwhelming love and support from the Frankfort and surrounding communities. We will definitely miss seeing you everyday and watching your families grow.
Now down to the nitty gritty…
We will continue to accept gift cards until March 26th. We will no longer be issuing rewards cards. If you have future orders placed with us we will be honoring those.
We will continue to accept special orders, custom cake and cookie orders past March 26th. Our availability for these things may be limited so as always we recommend contacting us early to ensure availability. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for an amazing experience. It has definitely been one of the craziest, most wonderful, challenging, and memorable experiences.
