New Year, new direction.....
For 2021 we are expanding our services.
-We have obtained storage space that is available for short term use.
-We will also be operating an online “store and donation” center.
Many items that get discarded and still in good shape and useable. We will donate or resell these goods, thus recycling/reusing them.
It is will reduce waste and also help to provide folks in need with an opportunity to have access to furnishings that might otherwise be unobtainable.
Proceeds from resold items will be donated to local charities such as Daniel’s Table, Timothy’s Toybox, and many more local organizations that do good for our community.

True Story:
Backstory- We were at an office building for a cleanout today for a first time customer who called us weeks ago, but due to being fully booked for weeks, we were not able to help within her short timeframe.

Fast forward to today:
The customer had booked her appointment about 3 days ago. We were booked, but she was in a jam, so we adjusted a few things and made it happen for her.

Customer: “Last time I hired 1-800-GOT-J@ because you were booked. What a mistake that was. I’ll never call them again.
They showed up late. They damaged the walls. They left the office a complete mess, and to be honest, I think they were probably criminals.
Their lack of professionalism and dirty looks had me not trusting them from the second they arrived. The worst part is that they did less work than you and charged me twice as much. They even charged me about $180 dollars more than they quoted.
I won’t make that mistake again. Can you come back again for our other office soon.”

Just goes to show, that being honest, thorough, and professional goes a long way!
People will wait, as long as you provide amazing service, honest upfront pricing, and clear communication.

We have limited dumpster bags in stock. If you’d like one dropped off, please follow up before operations cease tomorrow, through April 7, at which time scheduling pickups will resume, per the orders of Governor Baker.

Dumpster Bags are a great way to be productive and get the family together on clearing some clutter while we anxiously wait for the return to normalcy.

In light of our current public health emergency, BJH Services has made adjustments to our standard procedures to ensure the safety of customers by practicing social distancing, which seems to be the best defense against the spread of COVID-19.
1) We are functioning, but are only doing curbside/outdoor pickups. We can not and will not enter your home.
2) We have the ability to accept payments electronically, eliminating the need for a human contact transaction.
3) Dumpster bags are available for no fee. Charges are applied appropriately upon pickup/disposal based on weight/volume. These can be left on your property and removed when full, with no direct contact necessary.

We feel that these measures will allow everyone to stay safe, yet productive in these difficult times.

While there is no replacement for a good handshake, not risking the safety of others is the best display of service we can provide right now.

On January 26, me and fellow members of the Watertown Fire Department will be conquering the stairs of the TD Garden as part of the B-Fit Challenge, sponsored by the Boston Bruins, to raise funds for the “100 Club”.
This organization does amazing work supporting the families of first responders who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
