Granny Margaret’s All Butter Irish Shortbread

10/13/2026

Happy Heavenly Birthday to the lady herself. She would have been 85 today.

I hope she’s having a right old laugh to herself up there seeing all these bags with her face on them, filled with her shortbread, making their way around the northwest suburbs of Illinois.

Thanks mummy - we are really having fun with this wee thing! ###

This is the original picture of our Logo; it was taken outside our garden in Ireland (not the best pic of me but I love my laugh and the picture of mummy).

We met a new vendor neighbor today. Another reason I love this wee job/hobby.

Friends, please check out Yee's Secret Sauce LLC . Absolutely incredible sweet and sour sauces and something for every palette. Not only is her product insane, Stephanie is a gorgeous person and a wealth of knowledge; we could have talked all day.

Thank you McHenry Brewing Company for a lovely wee day. We hope to collab again soon x

I want to take a minute to sincerely thank all our customers for their amazing support our first 6 months as Granny Margaret’s! What an honor it has been to share my mum’s recipe with you all.

What started out as a wee hobby, to get me out of the house as I work 100% from home, has really turned into a labor of love. We are becoming well known around the area, with so many repeat customers; it makes us so, so happy. I love that my mummy’s shortbread has made their way into your homes to be shared around your tables.

I couldn’t be happier right now.

Thank you, each and every one of you xx
