ATM will be on site.
Free entry and free parking : as long as you all act civilized in the parking lots coming in, if you get wild while parking; i.e. skipping, cutting people off, trying to park in roped off areas, not driving safe around event attendees or trying to run past or over the volunteer parking attendants aka my friends and children….we’re so excited that y’all have so much enthusiasm for this event, but you will be removed for unsafe driving.
Food:
Yes we will have several food and coffee trucks on site so come hungry!
Bathrooms:
Yes! We have bathrooms on the east side of the expo and the north part of the arena.
Weather:
This event goes on rain or shine, we’ve been very blessed through 10 events with very little incliment weather, but all vendors are under a roof.
Wheelchairs: all of the expo hall is concrete and wheelchair accessible, some have also made it around the show arena, but the shavings can get a little deep so just be cautious.
The expo does not have wheelchairs available.
Wagons:
Bring them! Stack them high with crates and cages!
Animal crates:
Some vendors may have boxes for chicks, they may sell crates or boxes, but it is best practice to bring crates and carries if you are able.
Dogs:
Can I bring my dog?
No. We will ask you to take your dog off the grounds, that may sound harsh since your dog is so sweet, we love our dogs a lot too, but the reality is, the vendors bring their livestock to sell, there is enough stress on animals in transport and these animals are also all prey animals, therefore they will panic at what they see as a predator. So please don’t make us ask you to leave. This is an “open to the public” event, but it is rented and therefore considered private property during that rental period and we can enforce removal of any attendee.
Legally:
Generally, the ADA requires owners of public accommodations to allow a service animal. The same requirement doesn’t exist for emotional support animals under federal or Texas state law. Owners of businesses and other public spaces may choose whether to allow emotional support animals or not.
If you attempt to bring your ESA into the event labeled as a "service" animal, you are in violation of Texas House Bill 4164. Those who falsely represent pets as service animals face a fine of $1,000 and 30 hours of community service. Texas Human Resources Code, Section 121.002 defines a service animal as a "canine that is specifically trained or equipped to help a person with a disability."
Representatives of the venue may (legally) ask if the animal is required because of your disability and what work or task the animal has been trained to perform.
