People have asked where the name came from, and the answer is simple… my grandma. She had a funny saying whenever she wanted just a tiny bite of something: “Just give me a little sniggle.” Of course, we’d usually end up giving her a whole scoop of ice cream anyway and she’d happily eat every bite.
She loved to bake, and what amazed me most was that she rarely used a recipe. Somehow, everything she made just turned out. It still blows my mind. Even now years later, we’ve continued to use the word sniggle when someone wants a taste of something. It’s just stayed with us and always makes me think of her. She also spent decades volunteering with the Salvation Army, was known by just about everyone in her community, and was even recognized as the oldest living Girl Scout in our state. “Sis” Lucas lived a life of kindness, service, and generosity. I guess baking and being in the kitchen runs in the family. My mom was an incredible cook, who showed love through food. Looking back, I realize I was blessed to be taught by women who did amazing things in the kitchen, not for recognition, but to bring people together.
Sniggle & Crumb isn’t just a name. It’s a reminder of family, tradition, and the joy of sharing good food with the people you love. ❤️ ❤️

Welcome to Sniggle & Crumb!

After lots of encouragement from family, friends, and coworkers, I’ve finally decided to turn my love of baking into a small home bakery!

I’ll be sharing artisan sourdough, gourmet cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other homemade treats made in small batches with quality ingredients.

I’m still getting everything set up, so orders aren’t open just yet, but I’ll be launching with preorders in the coming weeks. In the meantime, follow along as I share my baking journey!
