3 EASY LATE-SUMMER DRINKS & TREATS 🍑☕️🍵✨ | Make them with me!

If you’re looking for easy summer drink recipes, iced coffee recipes, matcha recipes, and simple homemade treats, these 3 are the perfect way to savor the last days of summer. 🤎

And for my fellow mamas-to-be, these make such cozy pregnancy-friendly treats too! 🤰🏼✨ Just be mindful of your total daily caffeine intake — most doctors recommend staying under 200 mg of caffeine per day during pregnancy. Always check with your own healthcare provider for personalized guidance. (Not intended as medical advice.)

🍑 Peach Cobbler Iced Matcha — creamy, fruity & tastes like summer in a glass
🍨 Bearista Espresso Affogato — Bearista ice cream from Ice Cream for Bears + fresh espresso = the easiest summer dessert
🍁 Salted Maple Iced Latte — sweet, cozy & basically a preview of fall

Making all three with my Tovolo ice cream scoop, stirrer/spreader & giant ice mold to make these homemade drinks and treats even more fun!

Perfect for a summer afternoon pick-me-up, cozy pregnancy treat, coffee date at home, or simple dessert after dinner. ☕️🍨

Which one would you try first? 🍑🍨🍁

Woke up from my Sunday after church nap with this random pregnancy craving in my mind 😍

Homemade Basil 🌿(fresh from my garden) & black pepper garlic Raviolis filled with a pesto protein cottage cheese and Parmesan 🧀 mixture and rosemary ground beef, in a creamy tomato sauce bolognese.

Haven’t rolled out some homemade pasta in a few months, so was excited to make this! Hubby took my toddler to play at the park so I could have some peaceful time to make this delicious recipe! It definitely hit that 🤩🍝 BON APETIT

Fermentation has officially become a staple in our kitchen 🥒🤎

We’re big on fermented foods in our household — sourdough, kefir, sauerkraut, and especially a GOOD crunchy pickle! 😂

But I’ll be honest… the thought of babysitting a jar for 3–5 days, watching for bubbles and remembering to “burp” it so it doesn’t explode? No thank you. 😂

That’s where my Masontops | Fermenting + Mason Jar Tools PICKLE PIPE™ fermentation airlocks + PICKLE PEBBLES® came in SO handy.

I simply made my pickles, filled the jar with brine, added a glass pebble to keep everything submerged, popped the Pickle Pipe on top, and let them do their thing. 🙌🏼

No daily babysitting. No worrying about pressure building up. Just crunchy, tangy homemade pickles waiting for me a few days later. 🥒✨

And as a pregnant mama, I’m always looking for simple, nourishing foods to keep stocked in the fridge — these make the perfect crunchy snack!

Who else loves a good fermented pickle?! 👀🥒

Pregnancy has made me even more intentional about the products we bring into our home, especially our everyday wellness swaps. 🤎

Gaia Guy Remineralizing Mint Toothpaste has been one of my favorite nontoxic pregnancy swaps—I started using it early in pregnancy and genuinely feel like my teeth have been stronger and healthier. I’ve also been intentional about mineral support during pregnancy with a magnesium supplement recommended by Dr. Mark Burhenne | Dentist Dr. Mark Burhenne 🤰🏼

Now I’m adding Gaia Guy’s bamboo + horsehair toothbrushes and NanoMint Teeth Tablets to our natural oral care routine as I head toward postpartum. And of course, my toddler had to get his own kid-sized toothbrush too—he loves brushing alongside mama! 🥹 Simple nontoxic swaps for pregnancy, postpartum, and family wellness that I actually use every day🦷🪥🌿

This is my favorite breakfast recipe! Especially when I’m pregnant or nursing, this is great for a quick dose of protein so I’m not feeling too queasy starting out the day. I like to pair this with with a hearty breakfast so I’m getting anywhere from 30-50 grams of protein first thing in the morning. 😋

An example of what I’d pair this with on a regular day:
Slice of Sourdough toast w/grassfed butter, homemade berry jam with honey, organic blueberries and strawberries,
3 organic pasture raised eggs, 3 organic chicken sausages and a bulletproof latte! The smoothies itself is 20 grams of protein per 8 oz serving (makes 4 servings).

Comment below some of your favorite ways to get protein in throughout the day! ⬇️🤩I’d love to hear!

Kinda crazy to think how quickly life is about to change! 💙 30 weeks pregnant this week, and I’m feeling extremely blessed—but also a little nervous about going through natural home birth again.

Even though my first birth was absolutely beautiful and uncomplicated, and I had such an incredible experience, birth is still a HUGE event. 😂 My last labor was 12 hours, and I did so well with the help of God, my husband, my midwife, and my doula. But for some reason, as I get closer this time, the thought of doing it all again feels a little nerve-wracking.

I’m excited for it, but I think it’s the unknown that gets me. I’m choosing to trust God and not let fear creep in, reminding myself that He created my body to do this. My first birth was so beautiful, and I trust that this birth will be beautiful in its own way, too. 🤍

I honestly feel like this must be what someone training for a triathlon or big race feels like in the weeks leading up to the big day 😂—except birth has so many more intricacies and unknowns!

So I’m just giving it to God. 🙏🏻

I felt like sharing in case there’s another mama out there who feels the same way. And if you’ve been through birth before, I’d love any words of encouragement you’d like to share. I’m definitely all ears. 🥹

I’m also SO excited to have another snuggly little newborn in our arms and in our home again. Every baby is such a blessing from God, and I’m just continually amazed and humbled that He has called me to love and raise these little ones.

Grace for tomorrow. 💙

Welcome to my little mini series: “Let’s see how much I can get done before baby boy gets here!” 🥹

With a little over two months to go, I’m officially in my pregnancy nesting era — getting our home, our toddler, and myself ready for postpartum life with two little boys.

A few things helping me get ready:

🤎 Montessori & Me — this beautiful wooden Montessori mirror is perfect for our independent little guy who loves helping us get ready. I especially love the little hooks for his hat and coat as we head into cooler weather.

🤎 Better Baby Care — getting my breast pump set up with their stainless steel, nontoxic pumping bottles because this crunchy mom is trying to minimize plastic exposure wherever I can. 🍼

🤎 Oak & Sage — stocking up on their hair growth oil and healing salve for postpartum. I experienced some postpartum hair shedding after my first, so I’m getting a few of my postpartum essentials ready ahead of time and creating little moments of self-care for those early weeks.

🤎 Qookie — a quick shoutout to our baby carrier for keeping my little man happy and close while I painted the nursery mural. Because apparently pregnancy nesting with a toddler means multitasking at all times. 😂

And now… I just need to FINISH THIS MURAL. 😂 Both boys will be sharing this room, and I cannot wait to see this vintage explorer nursery come together.

There’s still SO much on my baby prep and nesting checklist, and thankfully I have a little over two months left. 🤎

What should I add to my nesting list before baby gets here?

We had such a sweet day celebrating our toddler’s 2nd birthday! 💙

Being 7 months pregnant this year, I really wanted to focus more on the special moments with family and friends rather than going all-out on decorations or material things. Honestly, it was the perfect excuse to get our house sparkling clean ✨—which is always a win with a toddler running around!

We enjoyed delicious organic mixed-berry milkshakes made with our Ninja Kitchen Slushi, coffee with organic sweet cream, fresh watermelon, and a Whole Foods Market Berry Chantilly Cake! 🍓🍉☕️

If y’all know me, you know I always make the birthday cake, but this year my mom offered and I happily accepted! One less thing on my plate while getting ready for his birthday, and I wasn’t complaining. 😂🤎

Such a sweet little day celebrating our little guy and the blessing he is to our family! 🤩💙
