A year ago I had the honor of making the Groom’s cake for a very dear friend on her Wedding day! She and her family have been such a big part of my life, and I just loved being able to celebrate her through cake!

Such a joy to make this cake for a dear friend. Like most of my cakes, this one was prayed over. He made it happen and it turned out awesome!

Learned a lot on this cake! My nephew was very specific about the cake being the plane and not just a plane on top, so I said absolutely and had fun playing around with carving and building a cake and trying to give it the illusion of flight! Happy Birthday E, we love you!
