Sadly, we are no longer in production.

Our specialty was
made-from-scratch pie in a variety of sizes and fabulous flavors. πŸ˜‹

In early 2023, we at Bakerson Pie Company made the wise business decision to cease production once we discerned that inflation would continue to eat into profits and prevent the type of growth that we wanted for our business and our team. Our well researched assessment led us to determine that we would avoid ta

king on new business risks, and we would transition into other areas of opportunity and personal investments of time and talents in order to maximize who we are and what we do well. Thanks to you, we ended strong on Pi Day, March 14, 2023. Creating a successful small business has been a fabulous experience! What we've gained will follow us into everything we do in the future. We know that discerning pie fans want to be satisfied pie fans. And we thank you ALL for your faithful fandom of our pies! We have loved serving up so many of our favorite original flavors with you, and will miss being able to share them with you moving forward. Keep seeking and sharing goodness, and be sure to keep the pie love alive!

Happy , pie fans!

Here's your friendly reminder that tomorrow, 3/11/23, is our last day for the indefinite future.

We'll be there 9a-1p with preordered items, as well as a limited selection of most of our March flavors. (Sorry, no breakfast pie this time.) :(

We've loved being a part of this market community, and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of our new foodie friends! Truly, our lives have been enriched by the goodness we've encountered. πŸ’›

Hi pie fans! Reminder that TODAY, Tuesday 3.7.23, is the last day to order pies and crusts. After that, we are on our indefinite pause, and the last time to purchase is this weekend in person.

UPDATE: PREORDERS ARE CLOSED BECAUSE WE ARE AT CAPACITY AND HAVE SOLD OUT OF THOSE. THANK YOU, PIE FANS! 😊

We will be at the at Event Center THIS SATURDAY (3.11) 9a-1p. We'll have a variety of flavors and sizes. Come early to make your selection.

pickups are next Tuesday, 3.14. Choose your favs, and pickup time, at checkout on our website.

THANK YOU to everyone who has ordered so far! The 6" pies have been extremely popular, and you will be keeping us busy as we head toward Pi Day!

We will always be advocates for homemade crust. ALWAYS. πŸ€“

There are plenty of good recipes out there to choose from.
We typically like shortening based crusts because they tolerate various heat temps and baking durations well, and they don't overwhelm the flavor of your fillings. You can literally use them for ANY type of pie (sweet or savory).
We repeatedly hear that our crust is among the best that many of you have had.

If you don't want to bother mixing up your own, our crusts are available to order on our website.

Why Pie?

I’ve always loved pie, but really only the good stuff. Like, the home baked kind, or the ones from restaurants and pie shops that kinda specialize in it. What I didn’t realize is how hard it can be to find this kind of pie these days. Growing up, family baked it and I loved it. In college, there were pie shops in SoCal that were easy to find and enjoy when my friends and I had a craving for Toll House or Coconut Custard, or whatever. When I’ve traveled, I’ve tried to taste the local pie fare as often as it is served, like in Houston at House of Pies (!)...which is where I first encountered the heavenly flavor of Buttermilk pie. But over the last few years, I’ve realized that really good pie can be hard to find sometimes. Pie baking has nearly become a lost art and I miss the flavors my great, great aunt used to make, along with the flavors I’ve enjoyed in various places I’ve lived and traveled. So, here we are. Solving our own dilemma and inviting others to join us in this tasty journey of pie.

Pie is always meant to be shared, and certainly should be enjoyed. So give us a try and share with others as we create what we believe to be good pie. It’s made from scratch, with love and admiration for great pie bakers who have gone before us!
