I made this cake for our neighbor’s little girl for her 4th birthday. Her mom wanted flowers and chocolate. Simple and sweet! This is a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. Yum yum yum!

These are some groovy s**g carpet birthday cakes I made for a dear friend’s 1 year old daughter! The combination of flavors she requested were entirely new to me and it really stretched my creativity! She requested a cake that would taste like her grandma’s cherry dump cake! We finally settled on yellow cake, whole cherry filling with pecans, and pineapple buttercream frosting. It was a hit! My friend got the inspiration for this cake from Kara’s Party Ideas.com
