Exciting news! I’ve dreamed to open a micro cottage bakery for awhile now. That dream has came true few months ago! I got my cottage license and food handlers certification. I rebranded our name and logo. I am really grateful and thrilled to jump in and bake. All this is for the glory of the Lord. A big thanks to my husband who has pushed me and encouraged me to take this big step. A big thank to our Heavenly Father who has given me courage and passion to do this. And a big thank you to my loved ones and followers who has supported me every step of the way! Keep a look out for the menu and join me on this journey as we grow 🤍

Homemade chocolate milk made on repeat. This is a great snack option, pair it with beef sticks, siete Mexican wedding cookies, or fruits.

It’s really simple to make and delicious. Make a batch for the week.

Ingredients:
•3-6 tbsp of cocoa powder
•3-6 tbsp of maple syrup or organic cane sugar
•1/4-1/2 cups of hot water
•2-3 cups of raw or A2 milk
•extras: vanilla extract, cinnamon powder

Directions:
1. Add cocoa powder (and sugar if you are using) to a big jar, if you want to add cinnamon or any other spices, go ahead and add it as well.
2. Pour 1/4 cup of hot water to the jar and mix up the powder. It should form into liquid mix. If there is still a clump, pour more hot water.
3. Add maple syrup to the jar. Mix well.
4. Lastly, add milk to the jar.
5. Shake and enjoy!

Hello everyone! It’s been a little over a year since I last posted, so bear with me. A lot has happened since then. My husband, Corbin graduated from seminary in May. We sold our beautiful 2 acre home in Indiana in June, which was so hard for us. We had big dreams there but God had other plans for us! Our son, Solomon, entered into the world July 2nd. Two weeks later, we packed all of our stuff and moved across the country to Prescott Valley, Arizona. We lived in a beautiful one bedroom small cabin in the woods for two months while we searched for a home. By the grace of God, we found a wonderful home in a neighborhood within our price range and near some of our good friends from the church, moved in October. Corbin became an elder at and the church was planted in January. He entered seminary at Forge in February to get his Masters. He is now a teaching pastor candidate for and will be for the next year or so.

Moving here has been one of the greatest and hardest thing for us. It’s hard to describe but we are so thankful to be here and we see God’s glory. Friendship are being rooted and blossoming. Our children are thriving. The church is growing. The weather and location is beautiful.

Needless to say, I do miss the homestead. But you know what? This year I’ve learned that you can homestead in a neighborhood, just have to do it in a different, creative way. Homesteading does not mean you have to have land and animals. I will be posting weekly, sharing my gardening in my little backyard, recipes from snacks to dinner to sourdough, canning, homeschooling, natural remedies, etc. I’m so excited to share and learn along the way. Thank you for your love and support!
