🍩 Our Dixie Cream family is asking for a little help today.

The owner’s little sister, Shimmeri, is currently still in the hospital with no clear discharge date. She has had five emergency room visits total and two hospitalizations, including the hospital stay she is still in right now.

She is dealing with pneumonia, intense coughing fits, severe pain, low platelets that are being monitored, and doctors have now confirmed acute painful steroid myopathy, which has caused severe muscle weakness. Right now, she needs a walker to get around safely, and it may take several weeks for her to rebuild her strength after she gets home.

Shimmeri is self-employed and cannot work right now, which means her income has stopped while bills, medications, animal care, and basic recovery needs are still continuing.

We wish donuts could fix everything. Honestly, we feel like they should have more power than they do. But right now, donations, shares, prayers, and community support would help the most.

Even $5 or a simple share can make a difference and help get this in front of more people.

We’re looking for upbeat, dependable, and hardworking team members to join our donut shop family! If you love working in a fast-paced environment and making customers smile, we’d love to meet you.

💰 Pay: $12.00 – $13.00 per hour + tips (tips vary daily)
• Morning / Mid-Day Shift: $12/hr + tips
• Closing / Afternoon Shift: $13/hr + tips Cook / Overnight shift: $15/hr

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Topping, filling, and preparing donuts for display
• Running the register and assisting customers
• Assisting bakers when needed
• Cleaning equipment and keeping work areas tidy
• Supporting the team wherever needed

What We’re Looking For:
• Positive attitude & great customer service
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable being on your feet for long periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• 18 years or older (due to equipment use)
• ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire
