Honored once again! For almost every year since we opened our doors in 2008, Bennett's Fresh Roast is recognized for making Southwest Florida's best donut. Thank you Gulfshore Life! We've appeared twice on the Food Network and Cooking Channel and we still make the same delicious hand-cut, from scratch recipe we made in the beginning. VIVA LA VIE BENNETT’S! Did you know that our Bennett’s owner is a born and raised SW Floridian? Since our famous shop opened in 2008 we’ve served millions of Bennett’s from-scratch donuts and cups of our original shop roasted coffee. We know how important quality and tradition are to SW Floridians as only local folks can. Still the same recipe for our donuts, icings and glazes and still the same micro-batch fresh roasting techniques we’ve used since the beginning. Made by us on The Cooking Channel, it’s our classic honey berry mascarpone creation that rocked the Donut Showdown judges world. Still made from scratch and hand cut like no other. Cooking Channel, Food Network and Alton Brown know Bennett’s. “Bennett’s has cornered the donut market in Fort Myers and it’s easy to see why” said Alton after his visit. Each Bennett’s Donut takes 2 hours to make. We mix ‘em from scratch from our own recipe, hand cut them, raise them and and cook them with love. And while we may not have invented the Maple Bacon donut, we sure have perfected it. Made with real maple extract in our homemade icing, we cover it with Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, the smokiest bacon known to man. But the incredible Bennett’s Donut isn’t all we’re about. We roast our own coffee. Daily. What you drink today was roasted yesterday. Imagine how great coffee tastes that’s roasted that fresh. And our espresso based drinks are phenomenal. Need more reasons?
