A Sunny Sky Pies Update! I have decided to close the shop & truck at the end of the day on October 10th. I have loved making pie for all of you, but most of all developing amazing friendships with people in our community.
Over the years, I have come to realize that in order to continue the business, I would have to compromise on the things that made my business shine ☀️, like:
☀️Meaningful conversations & relationships with my customers
☀️Sourcing fresh regional produce (often from my backyard, or the backyards of my customers!)
☀️Making unique pie varieties
☀️Hand rolling all butter crusts
☀️And many more…
…it’s about so much more than pie, and I’m not willing to give these things up.
Building community has been my passion, and we created a shop and truck where people could come enjoy pie, feel seen & heard, but most of all valued. This is a great accomplishment, and one that makes me very proud.
To all my pie peeps, thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart. I am unendingly grateful for your support and love over the years.
I will continue bringing meaning, care, & compassion as I pursue my next ventures, because this is what truly what matters.
