Hi everyone! 💕

I wanted to share some exciting personal news, The Barnhart fam bam is expecting a baby girl in October 2026! 🎀💗

Because of this special season in our lives, I will be temporarily closing The Sugared Blueprint and will not be accepting new custom cookie orders for the time being. Between pregnancy, family, and preparing for our newest little blessing, I need to take a step back and focus on what matters most right now.

This is not goodbye, just a pause. 🩷 I truly appreciate every single one of you who has supported my small business, trusted me with your special events, and cheered me on along the way. Your support has meant more to me than you know.

I plan to keep everyone updated here in the group and will share news when I’m ready to begin taking orders again after baby arrives.

Monster Truck Bash for a very special THREE year old 🏁🔥

This set was created completely dye-free, something that has become important in our own home as we’ve transitioned to dye-free for my son. I’m so grateful for a client who trusted me and gave me the opportunity to bring this vision to life.

You’ll notice the tones are a little softer and more muted while still keeping all the bold, playful energy. Working with alternative color methods creates a naturally beautiful finish, though they can behave differently than traditional gels. Minor variations like slight bleeding or cratering can occasionally occur, simply the nature of the ingredients and outside of my control.

I’m excited to now offer dye-free options for custom orders! ☺️

✨ A little cookie transparency ✨

I’m so thankful for everyone who reaches out about custom cookies — it truly means the world to me that you think of my work 🤍 I also want to share a bit of clarity so expectations are clear for everyone.

Custom decorated cookies are a luxury, made-to-order product. Each order includes design planning, hand-mixed dough and icing, baking, decorating (often over multiple days), drying time, and packaging — all done by hand with care and attention to detail.

Because of the time, skill, and supplies involved, my pricing reflects the true work behind each order. When broken down by hours and expenses, it often comes out to minimum wage or less. I’m not trying to get rich from cookie decorating — this simply helps support our mini farm and the kids’ extracurricular activities.

A quick booking note: dates are not secured without a 50% non-refundable retainer, as I limit the number of custom orders I take each week.

If after reviewing my menu you decide it’s not the right fit or not in your budget, that’s completely okay — a quick “no, thank you” is always appreciated and helps me open that date for another client.
