Fun fact- I didn’t start making sugar cookies until the last Unite Here Local 1 strike, in 2018. I wanted to be able to send hubs with something to the picket lines and mama Kat’s was still a baaaaaby. But I tried (I’ll find pics later) and now here we are. 8 years later and another strike. This time hubs is steward of two shops and sits on the Executive Board. 48 shops are running on expired contracts. These hotels need to belly up to the negotiating table and give these workers what they deserve.

Kids are finally back to school and I’m trying to adjust to not being asked for snacks every 42 seconds. That being said, I don’t want to get a real job sooooo…..let’s do some fun fall cookie projects!
