Hello friends!!

I'm looking to maybe expand a little after the first of the year into another type of good or two. I was thinking perhaps some muffins and/or cookies? Now, when I say "cookies," I don't mean decorated sugar cookies (there are a few good cookie decorators around, and I will not step on their toes), I mean like "rustic" drop type cookies!

I'm looking for a nice discussion to help me in my decision making!

Hello all!

It's been a little while since I've touched base, and I want to get some opinions on my fund raiser idea; whether or not you all would order, share the event, etc. As things are starting to ramp up for the holiday season, I would probably wait for the beginning of next year to try anything like it.

Along the holiday vein, they are indeed approaching VERY quickly, which means parties and family get togethers, and that undoubtedly means DESSERTS! Don't forget to place your orders for these delicious cheesecakes for your next gathering!!

Hope to hear from MANY of you soon with opinions on my idea AND with orders for holiday cheesecakes!!!

Good evening!

I'm now SERIOUSLY considering running with my charity idea. Now, not knowing how many cakes I will sell and such, I'll probably go with something like donating the proceeds to a local animal shelter, or buying pet food and such and giving it to the shelter. Something small, but still very powerful!

I will most likely start the "party" around the end of April, as I'm currently working on orders that will be traveling to VA mid-April. My question to you all is this: is this idea a good one? Will you, personally, order cakes knowing that some of the proceeds will go to a good cause?

I will give 20% of each cake that is ordered to the charity of choice, which is $3.40, so this idea has the potential to really be successful, but I will need everyone to help out!

I'm kind of anxiously excited to try this out, so keep you eyes open!

So I've been mulling around some ideas in my head in order to be a better business for my community and fellow humans. I've been thinking about perhaps a few times a year holding an "online party" to sell cheesecakes locally, and a percentage of the monies made from the sales would go to a charity of my choosing. Would that be something that sounds interesting? I would set up an online event here on FB to take orders for a couple of months and then deliver them to their recipients. It would really only be successful if there were to be PLENTY of participation (I don't want to hand over $5 to any type of charity)! Let me know your ideas and such, and perhaps after the first of the year I can get one going and see how we do!! PLEASE participate in a discussion! :-)

Hello!

Let's get the conversation started! I'm mulling around doing a "cheesecake of the month" type of thing where one would pay a flat rate for a year's worth of cheesecake (one each month). The charge, I'm thinking, would be $165, which would mean you're paying for 10 cakes and getting 2 free!

How many people would be interested in that type of thing, or do you know people who might be?

Sooooo….I haven't been active on this page for a great spell, I'm going to try and work on that! LOL! I've been pretty busy with the cakes, and coming up with new stuff to make to expand business.

I'll post a couple of pics of some new flavors that I've added to my growing list of cheesecake flavors, and I'm always up to looking for more based on suggestions from all of you!
