No more Farmer’s Market.
This was not an easy decision for us to make, but after a lot of thought, we’ve decided that we will not be returning to the Downtown Fond du Lac Farmers Market this season.
Last year was such an incredible experience, and we are so beyond grateful for every single person who showed up, supported us, and bought bread week after week. You truly helped grow this little sourdough dream into something so special. In our first season, we sold over 1,500 loaves, and last season that number grew to 2,650 loaves—something we never could have imagined starting out. That kind of support means more to us than we can ever put into words.
We also want to give a heartfelt thank you to the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership organizers for putting on such an amazing event. The time, effort, and care that goes into making it such a special experience for vendors and the community does not go unnoticed, and we feel so lucky to have been a part of it. A special thank you to Kristin for everything you’ve done—we truly appreciate you and all your support.
That being said, between the shoulder issues I dealt with last season, both Bryton and I starting new jobs, and the commitment of every single Saturday May–October, we had to take a step back and really look at what was sustainable for us. As much as we loved the market, it also meant that our weekends, and honestly a lot of our personal time, were always spoken for. And that’s just not something we can continue long-term.
This decision comes with a lot of mixed emotions, but we truly believe it’s the right one for this season of life.
We want you to know this isn’t the end of sourdough with us💙 We will still be offering pickups and deliveries, and we would absolutely love for you to continue supporting us in that way.
For anyone who received a coupon for our home pickups—those were originally valid through April, but we’re extending them through the end of November! You can now use them for delivery as well. Our next pickup and delivery is this Monday—order online now: https://eandbsourdough.square.site
