In 2003, after fulfilling a successful career in public service, Jimmy Lichman embarked on his dream of becoming a potter. Since that time, Jimmy has succeeded in creating exceptional works of functional art, including "story bowls." Story bowls embody a sentiment or inspiration influenced by nature and Native American art. Jimmy often incorporates a strong use of lines and patterns; which lends

dimension and movement to the piece. In 2016, Jimmy's wife, Gale, retired - also from a career in public service, and together they now join as "Pine Willow Pottery." Gale specializes in glazing fauna and flora. She also throws and hand builds functional pieces.
