Bo's Baking Company opened in 2013; my passion for baking started at a young age and I remember taking over my family's kitchen to try new recipes quite often. Because I knew I wanted to enter a creative profession, I decided to major in Fashion Merchandising at Virginia Tech, which was the perfect combinat
ion of creative design and business. During my first year in Alpha Phi sorority, I was asked to create the menu, bake 300+ desserts, and execute the presentation for new member rush, which I excitedly agreed to and took on the following two years, as well. After graduating from college, I worked in the corporate world as a recruiter for three years but felt unfulfilled. It had always been my dream (even on my bucket list) to own a baking business, so I decided to quit my recruiting job and go for it. In the beginning, I continuously reassured myself about taking such a big risk, but knew that taking a leap of faith and starting Bo's Baking Company would be the best decision. I am so excited to share my passion for homemade cupcakes, cookies, muffins, and brownies with all of you! I promise to always use the highest quality ingredients like Plugrá butter, Madagascar bourbon vanilla, and Fleur de Sel, and bake in small batches to ensure product quality and consistency.
