CUPS of CAKE ITS THE CUPCAKE YOU DREAM ABOUT I have been open for a little more then two years and I must say Cups of Cake has come a long way. New menu soon!!!!

I first began this business with the idea that I want to create something different. I was on the front end of the "Cupcake Boom", so everyone was looking for that awesome cupcake. What I have learned in this journey is that I enjoy creating flavors, going out of the box for a cupcake that would taste amazing. I almost want to refuse selling just Chocolate and Vanillia cake with buttercream icing

when there is so many other options that would be amazing. I have also learned I want the customer to remember that cupcake, how the flavors just melted and blended in there mouth. I want them to be excited to try a new flavor or crave their fav. I have seen some of the most exquisite, beautiful cakes, with excellent fondant work but when you got to the taste and flavor it was so bland. $60-$100.00 for a pretty cake is crazy. It's got to be the taste more then anything and that's when I decided this time around it's all about the flavor. I will be using the best ingredients, and flavors. Cups of Cake is coming back this fall 2014.

I have had numerous people contact me about being open. Due to new job, and kids getting older I can only take orders here and there. However this summer I will open for special occasions, weddings, graduations, etc.

Today I decided to pull out my pans and have at some cupcakes. My mom was coming over so I made her Cups of Cake Favorite "Pina Colda". Pinapple Cake with fresh pinapple in the middle, Coconut frosting. Heres why Im posting. I have found an amazing way to make a whipped icing. Go to the store get Whipping Cream, and your favorite pudding. Come home and whip the Whipping Cream till it thickens, and add your pudding. If you want to add some confeconer sugar to sweeten it up. ( your liking) This icing was so creamy and not to sweet. It rocked.

Bryana today took the Christmas Cookie Special. Filled with No Bake Cookie Cupcake, Sugar Cookie Dough Cupcake, Gingerbread Cupcake, and the buckeye cupcake. Thanks bunches for the order, hope you enjoyed!!!! :)
