New Hours!! 10am-6pm Wed-Sat!! Come get our 1st Signature Sandwich for Lunch or Dinner, big enough to do both! The Florence Sandwich, born in Florence Italy is now available in Florence Oregon. Imported Mortadella, Stracciatella Cheese, and Pistachio Cream on Housemade Schiacciata Bread. We have several classic sandwiches, along with Pizza By The Slice. Rhody Week has arrived, and Ive met my schedule, sort of. We are now serving Authentic Italian Sandwiches and Pizza by the Slice. We will build on the menu as we go, and we are stumbling on our first day, but its all good as we learn. We still have plenty of Sourdough, Rye, French and Italian bread, and we’ve added some chocholaten chip cookies that match the addictiveness of our ginger snaps. Come by and see how we’re growing!!

Quick Update on our progress. While the upgrades are nearly complete, the brand new deli case i purchased has died on me after just one week. Warranty service out of Eugene should be here next week. We have 2 weeks until Rhody Days, and Im doing my best to get sandwiches and pizzas ready to go by then! Bear with us as unexpected delays make us wait a bit longer until we start serving up authentic italian grab and go street food. You can still stop by and pick up Sourdough, Rye, and French bread as well as our focaccia, brioche and sweet treats. Wed-Sat 10a-2p. Thanks!

Happy St Patricks Day!! Unfortunately we are closed today, but our Irish Soda Bread is on its way to Homegrown Public House tonight for their holiday special dinner with a live celtic band. Go check it out. We will be open Wednesday-Saturday 10am-2pm with plenty of Sourdough. (Babka on Thursday and Friday, come early).

I just cant stop! My last day in Italy, and Im still eating pizza and paninis several times a day!! Today I found Potato and Octopus pizza! I have dubbed it “Tentacle Pie”. We will not be serving it at Florence Bread Co., at least not at first 😃
