🧐 Did you know we bake so many items that we use formulas instead of recipes? Did you know our pie crusts - and many of our other products - are made by hand? Cake, donuts, cookies, danish and the list goes on - it takes a lot of training and practice to make the large variety of items we offer.

Because of this and many circumstances out of our control this year, we have been training several new team members. We offer approx. 350 items and so training multiple people at once takes a lot of time. Due to this, we have also had some empty space in our showcases and we don’t like it. Most of you have been very kind and understanding but some have not. So we wanted to take this time to explain and also apologize for things being different. We aren’t making excuses but there has been a reason for it and we wanted to let you know.

Also, if you have ever had anything other than a positive experience with the Bakery, we hope you let us know. And if you did, you’ll know we do everything we can to make things right. If we ever give you less than 100%, just know that’s not okay with us. We would never purposefully give less than our best. Please let us know if you aren’t satisfied - stop by and ask to speak with our manager, give us a call or email the owner directly at [email protected]. Please leave your name and phone number because the owner will want to contact you.

Unfortunately, 2026 has been hard but the good news is we are almost back to having everyone fully trained and we are very thankful! We are thankful for great team members and are also thankful for you - our amazing customers! We hope you will stop by and see us between tomorrow and our annual summer vacation. And keep checking back on Facebook or Instagram - and sign up to receive our texts (we don’t send alot 🙂) - because we are planning some summer specials for you! ❤️

It has been brought to our attention that a social media post was made telling people: “All you have to do is go up to Freeman’s and complain about your purchase and they will give you free stuff”. And this makes sense because lately we had noticed an increase in complaints and wondered what was happening. 🙁

We are saddened that wanting to make things right for customers who aren’t 100% satisfied has been taken advantage of. So because of this unfortunate situation we have to implement a new policy effective immediately:

➡️ If you have an issue with your purchase or order, you must return to the Bakery with the item and receipt within 48 business hours.

➡️ We will be documenting all returns and/or complaints in a file with the customer name, issue and copy of their receipt.

We have always had a customer first/100% satisfaction policy. We always want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. But we have to be honest and say it’s very disappointing that someone would post this online and encourage people to lie so they can receive free products.

All this said, we are thankful for the rest of you who are honest and legitimately let us know if there is an issue. We hope this new policy will not be an inconvenience to you. Thanks for your business! We appreciate you VERY much!!! 🙂
