🌶️ Scotch bonnet
🌶️ Chocolate reaper
🌶️ Thai chili
🌶️ Manzano
🌶️ Habanero
🌶️ Ghost
🌶️ Carolina reaper
🌶️ Jalapeño—apparently there for emotional support. 😂

Fruity pepper flavor followed by a whole lot of “WHAT HAVE I DONE?” 👻🔥

We’re here and fully set up right in front of The Ice Cream Barr at Artisan Haven!! Cute night market in and around the coffee/ice cream shop tonight! And yes, the coffee is available 😉 come stop by, shop small businesses, enjoy the beautiful weather, and grab some snack for later!

Plot twist from the salsa team: car is FULL, but very little salsa tonight 😅 Spirit of Larry, Betrayal, Afterburn, & mild are still cooling on the rack at home!

65 JARS. 36 HOURS. 2 humans who can't feel their feet. 🤣🫙

We are officially DONE. Kitchen is cleaned, salsa veggies are chopped for tomorrow, and pecan pie filling is gonna have to wait.

Here's what 2 days at Garden of Gethsemane Salsa Co. actually made:
🍒 CRANBERRY - just cranberry:
7 half pints jellied cranberry sauce
🍎 APPLE - from the apple haul:
6 quarts + 1/2 pint apple pie filling
11 half pints blackberry apple cobbler jam
1 qt + 1 pint + 1 snack jar homemade apple juice - plus today's bonus juice in that old Fleischmann's yeast jar 🤣
1 accidental half pint unsweetened applesauce + 7 pints cinnamon spice applesauce
🍌 BANANA - today's chaos:
4 pints banana rum cardamom jam
4 pints + 9 half pints banana butter
3 pints + 8 half pints banana ketchup

The banana-peel syrup? Canceled. Peels got dumped in compost. We reached the end of our enthusiasm. 🗑️😂

Proud but tired. Time for a post and a nap. ❤️💤
