🤍 A little Wildflora life update…
Wildflora is temporarily closed right now, and I wanted to share a little bit of why.
Life is just… a lot behind the scenes right now.
My husband is working 7 days a week, and I’m spending a lot of our weekends running kids to sports. We’re also working through some things as a family, and I’ve realized that, in this particular season, my kids need me.
And they will always be my priority. 🤍
They’re also a huge part of why Wildflora exists in the first place. I started this business to create something that could fit into our family and our life — not to build a business that requires our family to constantly fit around it.
So, for right now, I’m taking things day by day.
One thing I do want to clarify: if I haven’t specifically posted that Wildflora is open, please don’t assume that we are. If there’s a preorder, farmstand, or special opening, I’ll always let you know. Otherwise, we’re closed for the time being.
I’ll still be here. I’ll still be sharing things when I feel like it and when life allows. There will still be bread, recipes, behind-the-scenes moments, random farmstand thoughts, and all the little things that make Wildflora Wildflora. 🥖🌿
But I’m giving myself permission to let this business fit into my life right now, instead of constantly trying to make my life fit around the business.
The future of Wildflora is a little TBD at the moment. I don’t know exactly what it will look like when things settle down. I’m not currently operating at a scale that makes hiring help realistic, and I’m also realizing that sometimes the right business decision is simply recognizing when your family needs more of you.
So I’m not disappearing.
I’m not giving up.
I’m just prioritizing.
And I’m learning that sometimes that’s what growing a business — and taking care of a family — looks like.
