A little garden time this week!

I'm taking this week off from baking due to a funeral on Saturday, but I'll be back in the kitchen next week.

I may have a few Labor Day treats available by Monday, though! I'll keep you posted. 👀

But for now... I'm taking advantage of everything that's growing faster than I can use it. 😂

You guys showed the Vanilla Cardamom Scones some serious love this weekend! I even had someone come back looking for more after I had sold out at the festival. 🥹

I have a small amount of this weekend's bake still available for local pickup:

Ill be back in the kitchen this week, getting ready for Askov Rutabaga Festival August 28–29, and I’m opening preorders for the weekend!

Preorders can be picked up at Rutabaga Days, with a Finlayson pickup option Thursday or Friday evening as well.

This weekend’s W&F preorder is open through tomorrow (Thursday) evening.

Fresh-baked artisan sourdough, jalapeño cheddar sourdough, and a few sweet things are on the menu, with pickup available Friday evening and Saturday morning.

WEEKEND PREORDERS ARE OPEN

Fresh sourdough and Wildflower Boxes are on the menu this week, with Friday pickup options in Finlayson and Forest Lake.

ARTISAN SOURDOUGH

Classic — $10
Golden crust, chewy center, and all the simple goodness a good loaf of bread should have.

Jalapeño Cheddar — $12
Cheddar folded throughout with fresh garden jalapeños and a mild kick.

Cinnamon Brown Sugar — $12
Buttery cinnamon and brown sugar layered throughout an artisan sourdough loaf. Made for thick slices and a toaster.

WILDFLOWER BOX — $22

I've worked with buttercream for years, but I've never been confident with it.

These are VERY outside my normal Wildflower & Flint lane, but I wanted to challenge myself and practice something different, so i accepted the order.

By 10 pm I was questioning all my buttercream life choices 😅

But... the colors of the flowers kind of won me over.
