I'm trying to avoid sugar and gluten for a few weeks (which is hard because I'm a baker)...but I couldn't resist these scones. Light, flaky, buttery, and dotted with homegrown rhubarb chunks. Lightly sweetened with brown sugar and a vanilla glaze, these were perfect with my morning coffee and my homemade rhubarb jam.
I'll be making a batch for the Swan House Tea Room this weekend.
My new baking space has hit a few snags in development, but planning on opening up pick up orders this fall, stay tuned.

Hi friends! It's been a while! After prayers, careful consideration, tearful and hopeful conversations with my husband. I've decided to reopen my home based bakery, estimated date Spring 2026. Over the next few months I will be renovating my workspace, adding necessary business things (like digital payments), packaging and a porch pick up model.
Why? I missed you all. I missed creating fun treats and memorable moments for your celebrations. Stay tuned for more details and the occasional photo of progress and delicious treat experiments.
