It’s that time again, Bon Appetina’s is hiring. We will be hopping head first into spring and we are looking for some bright eyed and bushy tailed “peeps” to join the team.

Bon Appetina’s is a family business located in Fife, WA. We are a wholesale bakery that specializes in cookies, decorated shortbread cookies and cake pops. In other words, we don’t have to be up when the rooster crows or deal with serving customers on a daily basis. We always strive to instill the love we have for one another into our product!

When spring comes to the bakery, much like the flowers outside, our cookie orders begin to grow. In other words, we will be some very busy bees. But don’t worry, we don’t sting! Here is some of what you can expect as a member of the Bon Appetina’s family:

-a casual work place
-flexible hours with morning and evening shifts
-lunches on your own time (length varies)
-located near multiple restaurants, with pretty much any type food you could want
-music, podcasts, and audio books to past the time
-not to forget, good company with a bunch of weird-DOUGHS!

Here is some of what we will be looking for in candidates during our search:

-enthusiasm to learn new skills -flexibility in various job tasks
-a detailed orientated individual
-willingness to take on challenges
-creative and artistic thinkers
-prior work experience, however this is not required

Happy New Year from Bon Appetina’s!!

2020 has been an incredibly challenging year for so many. Though it all, we have had the amazing fortune of working with so many compassionate and supportive people that have helped to keep our small business afloat amidst this storm that is affecting all of us so profoundly.

As we turn the page on 2020 and look forward to the new beginnings of 2021, we would like to take this time thank our amazing staff, our family, friends and very importantly our business partners for helping to sustain Bon Appetina’s bakery and keep us flourishing during these challenging times.

Caps off to the Class of 2020!! Graduation cookies and cake pops are "on the menu" for the next couple of weeks at Bon Appetina's. With that in mind, we would like to say congratulations to the a class faced with many new challenges. You have learned a unique set of lessons over the last few months that no classes before you have ever learned. We look forward to seeing how the Class of 2020 applies this unique knowledge through the years to come. All the best in your future endeavors!

Happy National Nurse Day! We would like to give a shout out to all of the nurses out there. We greatly appreciate all of the sacrifices that you have made above what you do in normal times. When we deliver our cookies and cake pops to many of the area hospitals each Friday, we have had the first-hand opportunity to witness the professionalism, the courage, the compassion, and the love you demonstrate on a daily basis. Let’s give THANKS to all of the healthcare professionals! While many Americans and people worldwide are doing their part staying at home, there are heroes among us that are going out onto the teeth of this viral storm. Everyday risking exposure in hospitals and medical centers across our country. These professionals know the risks better than most of us, and still they make personal sacrifices daily to help keep us safe.

It is understandable in this environment just how difficult it must be to keep morale up. If they knew how those of us outside of the medical community feel about their sacrifices and they received positive words of encouragement from us it would almost certainly help boost morale.

Bon Appetina’s works very closely with our local hospitals throughout the year, and we recently had the opportunity to work with Jessica Bean in Food & Nutrition at St Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington to create these delicious morale boosting cookies for their hospital staff. The reception has been great, and many other hospitals are ordering cookies for their staff as well.

While you may not be in the position to make cookies to help boost morale, all of us at Bon Appetina’s hope that through each of our circles of influence we all can spread the word to our friends and families to send words of encouragement out to our “Health Heroes”. If you would like to you share this post to help get the word out, feel free to.

Coloring Cookies!!! Our video from Xmas.

Looking for fun things to do with your kids while they’re unexpectedly home? What about “Coloring Cookies” from Bon Appetina’s?!! What a cool way to embrace this unanticipated time with your kids with this extremely fun, and tasty, activity for the entire family.

With the Easter season right around the corner, we are offering our delicious shortbread cookies in egg shapes with cool coloring patterns on them (see images in the comments below). We also offer edible ink markers to color directly onto the cookies. Snacks AND entertainment!

During these challenging times, Bon Appetina’s is offering this fun family activity to our Facebook friends at discounted prices. We are selling a set of 5 “Coloring Cookies” PLUS 5 edible ink markers for $15.00. These normally sell for between $19.95 and $24.95 in stores.

Extra “Coloring Cookies” can be purchased individually at $1.80 each and extra sets of the edible ink markers can be bought for $6.00 for a set of 5.

We will accept orders on Mondays or earlier for curbside pickup at our bakery in Fife on Thursdays between the hours of 12:00pm and 6:00pm. If you would like to have them shipped, we can send via FedEx Ground/Home for between $15 and $25 in shipping costs depending on your location.

Hello Facebook friends and fans!

We hope you are all holding up well and staying healthy with the concerns in our region.

We had planned to have a booth and sell our cookies and cake pops at the Washington State Fairgrounds this Saturday for their inaugural “Paddy O’Party” event! With this being a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, we had prepared a BUNCH of St. Patrick's Day themed cookies and cake pops for the event. Due to the recent order by the Washington State Governor cancelling all large gatherings, we have many St. Patrick’s Day themed cookies and cake pops looking for new homes.

We aren’t typically open to the public for retail sales, however; given the circumstances we are going to offer these cookies and cake pops at our bakery in Fife for limited times, and until supplies last, at discounted prices. We don’t normally use our Facebook platform to directly sell our cookies and cake pops, but we hate to see these beautiful and delicious treats go to waste.

We will be available and open our doors at our bakery from 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Friday 3/13, Monday 3/16, and Tuesday 3/17 for you to pick up or purchase cookies and cake pops directly from us. We will offer these until supplies sell out. We have about 200 hand-decorated and direct print shortbread cookies, 200 cake pops, and 100 classic cookies (Chocolate Chip, Ginger Molasses, etc…) that are currently available.

Hand-Decorated Shortbread Cookies
Regular Retail Price - $3.00 per cookie
Special Discounted Price - $1.80 per cookie

Cake Pops
Regular Retail Price - $2.25 per cake pop
Special Discounted Price - $1.80 per cake pop

Classic Cookies (Chocolate Chip, etc.).
Regular Retail Price - $2.00 per cookie
Special Discounted Price - $1.00 per cookie

Again, these will be available for sale at these prices through Tuesday 3/17 or until all of the items are sold. If you would like to order in advance, feel free to message us to reserve your cookies and/or cake pops and leave your email address so we can email an invoice to you. Then you can pick up your treats at our bakery in Fife between 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Friday 3/13, Monday 3/16, and Tuesday 3/17.
