🥰Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday I had a blast talking to all of you and my son had fun trying to sell someone his cookie for $160(he told me all about it this morning when he woke up, so thank you to the gentleman who tried to buy it from him 🤣)

If you've been following along since I shared the big news on the 1st, you know that Rachel's Sweet Creations is making a BIG move! 🥹❤️

We're going from a licensed Cottage Bakery to Rachel's Sweet Creations Bakery & Cafe! 🧁☕️

And tonight, I'll be set up RIGHT IN FRONT OF our future Bakery & Cafe during Canal Nights at The Meadows at Inglewood! 🚗✨
I'll have lots of fresh, scratch-made goodies with me, including:

🍋 Lemon Bars
🍪 Sourdough Midnight Cookies
🍫 Brownies
🌽 Cornbread
…and hopefully a few more things if I can squeeze them into today's baking schedule! 😉

🇺🇸 Today we remember.

We honor the lives lost on September 11th and the heroes who showed incredible courage and selflessness that day. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

And while today is a day to pause and remember, we also wanted to share a little bit of our own journey.

Our storefront is coming along! 🧁🏠

This week, the floors were torn up in preparation for plumbing and electrical work. It definitely looks like a construction zone right now, but every bit of demolition means we're one step closer to the finished bakery!

And… OUR TEMPORARY SIGN IS UP! 🎉

Seeing Rachel's Sweet Creations on the building was such a surreal and exciting moment. What started as a little cottage bakery is slowly becoming a storefront here in Fernley.

Thank you for continuing to follow along and support our little dream. We're building it one step (and one very messy floor 😂) at a time!

We can't wait to open our doors and fill this place with the smell of fresh, scratch-made goodies. ❤️🧁

I can't tell if it's fall yet or still summer but we broke out the fall sprinkles anyways!

🥜 🍫 Made some buckeye brownies the other day because who doesn't love some peanut butter and chocolate 🤤

📣 Be sure to come down to The Meadows at Inglewood(1044 Inglewood Dr, Fernley) for Canal Nights Saturday 9/12 5pm-9pm and get some of your favorite bakes! My booth will be right in front of the new Bakery & Cafe, you can sneak a peek in the windows to see the ongoing construction 🫣

As I'm sure you noticed I forgot to take pictures when I got home(ok I didn't forget I just napped instead 🤫 ) but I do still have a few loaves and 2 bags of English Muffins left.

I had 61 items with me today and only brought home 13. Pretty good for a market that's definitely slowing down!
